Stuck in the house, perhaps inspired by Harold and his purple crayon? Doodle of an owl and birch trees with a purple pencil. Thinking of expanding this into a pen and ink pointillist piece... we'll see.

I have migrated south, and currently reside in California with my husband and our dogs, Scout and Luke. This is so beautiful. We live in the Atlantic northeast and have the same gorgeous birches to invite us to sketch. You captured this so perfectly.
Very nice. I love sketching in my book too. Never get too much time though...
